  Currently the following position is available:

On-site Decontamination Manager: Duties include overseeing the removal of chemical contaminated building materials, sanitary plumbing, chemical fume hoods, decontaminating surfaces where these chemicals have been spilled or released, and monitoring the effectiveness of cleaning of decontamination and characterizing and managing the accumulation of hazardous waste generated from building construction debris.  Decontaminating hazardous materials below established clearance levels. Identification and removal of manufactured items containing HM (i.e., mercury containing switches, thermostats, etc.).  Preparing reports summarizing the results of the aforementioned activities.   Requires a degree in environmental science, chemical/environmental engineering, chemistry, or geography with pertinent experience involving a variety of hazardous chemicals and 3 years experience. A 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is desirable.
